Whoa! Did you miss me?!!!

Wow!  It has been a long time since I last posted.  Life has been grand, though time for minis has been scarce.  I haven't given up the hobby, I assure you, but other things have been pressing on my time.  I've been sewing a formal holiday party gown, enjoying the holiday season with friends and family, and generally being giddy with my wonderful boyfriend.  :D

I've been trying to keep up with what others have been working on, and I see a lot of great work out there.  One of my mini friends Lyssa sent me a wonderful Christmas care package full of awesome goodies she made.  Be sure to check out her etsy shop!  She's a very talented artist with a beautiful spirit!

Her wreath adds the perfect touch to the front door of the Newport.

Her garland and poinsettia decorate the hearth.

I will frame her wonderful mini paintings and hang them permanently when I get closer to finishing the upstairs rooms.  Thank you again for being such a dear friend, Lyssa!  :]

I had such fun tonight revisiting the mini world!  The pastries were part of a giveaway from Dolls House Emporium, and the wine bottle with glasses came from miniatures.com.  I repainted and reupholstered the Mackintosh chairs, and the coffee table was made from scratch.

In other news, I recently spent some of my Baslow Ranch winnings and treated myself to a miniature working clock by Reutter Porzellan.  It runs on a tiny watch battery.  I love clocks -- have them all over my real life house -- and this one is perfect!  :D

And, lastly, I've written before about the shoes and handbag I bought from the talented Patrizia Santi.  Well, she is having a giveaway!  Visit her blog and sign up to win one of her beautiful creations.

:) Again, you are welcome.

By the way, LOVE that table and the accessories on it are to die for! How perfect is that wine bottle?!?

Also, I dig the clock. I always want to have a zillion clocks in the house, too, because I have seen some really cool ones but the other half squawks every time I try to bring things into the house.
