I've finished stitching the Tribal Foxes rug with a total stitching time of 110.75 hours. I just need to bind the edges and complete the final finishing.
This was done in full cross stitch with single thread over 32 count Jobelan.
Beautiful. Just beautiful.
Amazing work. It’s beautiful.
Gorgeous!! Any serious thoughts as to where this one will wind up? I’ve done a few needlepoint projects lately too, but haven’t yet been brave enough to keep track of my stitching hours.
Wow! You must feel so proud at achieving such a giant accomplishment! It is so lovely!
Pretty damn neat… Never ever would I be able to produce anything like this.
Please remind me, where is it going to be installed?
1. Would you take on such a large and intricate item again? and
2. Did you ever face this challenge with dread and think, “Okay, I have to get this done!
Wow, that’s so amazing! Beautiful work!
Thanks so much!
I’m still pretty sure this will end up in Watson Mill. It’s a relatively small rug, and I find stitching relaxing. I have been wanting to work on the Persian, so I did make a point to complete the stitching on this one now.
That’s just gorgeous. Love the colors. Can’t wait to see it in a house.
Your tribal foxes rug has a Navajo sensibility to it, and is Beautifully Done.
Since I am a quarter Navajo, that makes sense.
This carpet is very real, neat and there is something solid, cozy in it
