I normally don't participate in awards, but Casey has generously bestowed upon me the 'Strange Men in Pinstripe Suits' award!  :D  I love the name of it, and yes, I have been accused of being strange...but really, isn't being strange the best?!!!

This award is in honor of Cate Gardner's forthcoming story collection 'Strange Men in Pinstripe Suits' due out this October.  There is a contest with prizes involved...always a good thing.  Now on to the business of it all...

The 'Strange Men in Pinstripe Suits' award is given to only the strangest of folk, and as the recipient of such you are deemed very strange indeed. Congratulations.

Now you must go forth and celebrate the strangeness of friends (and strangers - strangers are always allowed) by nominating blogs run by strange folk. *Beware, some people don't like you to refer to them as strange…Try to avoid them if possible.

My nominees are...and it must be stated that the term "strange" is meant as a compliment to the unique style and wonderful talent these fellow miniaturists have...

1. Shelly at Life of Sj: strange to me that she does not have more followers...so everyone, hop to it!  This talented artist makes some of the most realistic flowers I've ever seen.

2. ChibiPulse (yes, I know her real name, but I keep her secret!) at A Miniature Obsession: she likes rats...I share her love of rodents, strange or not.  And, she makes beautiful modern houses.

3. Ascensión at Mis Miniaturas: beautifully strange creatures and other minis abound at her Escena de Hagatha.

4. Lyssa at Can't Have it Big? Make it mini!: it's been strange how we seem to be traveling on the same path lately...of course, there's that saying about great minds thinking alike.  ;]

5. Grace at TreeFeathers: I'm not sure if she accepts awards, but I felt this strange urge to send her one...must be the Edgar Allan Poe reference.  :D

6. Glenda at Peppercorn Minis: I am strangely addicted to her minis...she makes such great stuff!
