Scarecrow

I have a Michael's craft sheet from 1992 for a scarecrow made from a large pumpkin bell, raffia and preserved leaves. I made one of these back when I got the craft sheet, but I figured I'd make one in mini today. Instead of a pumpkin bell for the head, I made Fimo clay jack-o'-lanterns. Cute little guys, no? :D
I had leftover orange raffia. I used sewing thread for binding and an oak leaf punch for the leaves. I fashioned the hat out of felt, shaped over the tip of a glue bottle. The buttons are craft paper and made using a 1/16" punch.
The merry trio. :D

Haha, these are so cute! Although i have to admit i wouldn't want to run into them in the dark! But i agree with marlene, i'm expecting them to start singing!!
