otterine's handcrafted miniatures on etsy!

by brae Email

I just opened an etsy shop to offer similar items to those I've made for my private collection.  I have only a handful of items listed at the moment, but I will be adding more as my work progresses on the Newport and other projects.  If you see something you like there, or here on my blog, I may be able to reproduce something custom just for you!

Here's a sampling of what I have up at the moment.  I pretty much just took some of the things I had the most fun making and recreated them.

I had to dust off my old Illustrator skills to create some custom graphics since I wasn't sure about using clip art on products for sale.  Better to be safe than violate any copyright laws.  I definitely wouldn't use someone else's art for anything but my own personal collection, and I always give credit to the original artist.

I stumbled upon Green Bulb Gang while looking for Illustrator tutorials (I have an affiliate link in the sidebar on the right).  It's a great site for Illustrator and PhotoShop brushes.  They have a reasonable and fair policy for terms of use, including commercial usage, and their pricing is pretty good as well.  :D
