Navajo rug update, halfway there

by brae Email

I now have one half of the Navajo rug completed, plus a little bit more.  I'm at 102 hours of work, so the total stitching time should be around 204 hours.  :D

And, a little cutie break.  Hickory Dickory Dock.  Sydney is hydrating so he can successfully run up the clock.  ;D

Thank you! Yes, he's a cutie! Fast, too. 88| I had to oil his wheel last night.

I'm glad to see that Sydney is doing well. He's a cutie! I cannot let my son see this post or he will want a Sydney of his own!

Sydney is just so cute. Good to know he appreciates miniatures too! Rug is looking great. I started a rug on 22 count canvas but found I struggled to see well enough, especially with the poor lighting in my craftroom. It has been put aside for now.

Mona - Thank you for the compliments and the award! :D

Sharee - I use readers at 2.75x magnification and an LED clip-on light. Both were purchased at Michael's. My first attempt at stitching without light and magnification was laughable and painful! :))

Hi Brae - your rug gets lovelier with each new picture. And I'm assuming that we're looking at Sydney's library in front of his exercise room? Looks like he's a voracious reader! tee hee...
