Navajo rug - a few hours in

by brae Email

I've been busy with real life and have had only a small bit of time for minis, which I've spent on the Navajo rug.

This is a scant 5.75 hours worth of work. I am thinking I should be done by...July 2012. Hahahaha.

Brae, missed your posts! Nice progress on the rug. I know, you like cross stitch, but needlepoint would be faster, :))))))

Well, I am a fan of cross stitch too, even if it takes longer, in the end I have to be happy with it!!!!!! Enjoy the process, I know it gets boring sometimes, in those times I keep a mental picture in my mind of the finished result to help keep me going.

Wow! Those are tiny, tiny stitches. Jobelan is a nice fabric to stitch on. Your rug is going to be beautiful!

Beautiful work, Brae! So, you've been working on your rug! I thought you and your boyfriend were out Christmas partying! LOL!

You are a glutton for punishment ;)

It's looking good so far, I know it will be awesome when finished.

Thank you for the encouragement! The only parts that are boring are the long rows of straight black. Bleh! Once I get moving on the pattern, then it's all good.

There will be parties off and on this long weekend, but I am eager to get back into the swing of minis! :>>
