Master bath progress

For this room, I wanted a contemporary look without being too modern.  More of a spa-like, comfortable place to soak in the tub.  The sink is from Silly Sisters in The Netherlands.  The vanity is actually a Mackintosh sideboard from The Dolls House Emporium; it wasn't meant for this space, but I loved it when I used it as a placeholder.  When I did the previous layout, I had the sink on the opposite side.  There wasn't enough room for the things I wanted to so around the vanity, so I swapped its location with the bathtub.

The wallpaper is Spring Breeze by Bazzill Basics.  It has a slightly different feel than the other Bazzill Basics papers I've been using but works just as well.

The flooring was made using grey vinyl tiles by Greenleaf.  I loved the way they turned out in the kitchen, so I used them here, too.  I again used a grid printed on regular paper to help with the layout and for the ease of installation.

I separated the tiles from one another and affixed them randomly so it hid the obvious pattern the tile sheets have right out of the package.  I used only the lighter, more similarly colored tiles in the visible areas and used the darker mismatched ones under the bathtub.

The tub and toilet are from a set from The Dolls House Emporium (the third piece of the set was a pedestal sink) as is the towel heating rack.  I think having everything on the floor lowers the ceiling in a room and doesn't have much visual appeal.  So, I built a low wall around the tub to not only raise the towel heater but to have space for bath items and flowers.  The base of the low wall is made from balsa and bass wood.  I have a few ideas for finishing it...back to the drawing board.  :]

The rya rug was made by Glenda at Peppercorn Minis.  The little stool with the towels on it is actually borrowed from Baslow Ranch until I can make a new one for the room.  :]

It's looking nice, I like your bathtub wall idea.

Might I make a suggestion (and I hope you don't think I'm rude)? The sink and vanity are gorgeous and I'd love to see you switch them around with the shelving unit to bring them further out into the room so we can see them better.
