Farm wagon - side project

by brae Email

I am still enjoying working on the Heritage, but it is such a long, involved process that I've been feeling the itch to work on something else.  To that end, I am working on a small side project...a farm wagon similar to this one from Baslow Ranch.

I was lucky enough to find three of these Allwood kits on eBay, one just like the Baslow Ranch wagon and two similar - one of which is the one I am working on now.  It's meant to be a 1:16 scale covered wagon, but I'm converting it to a 1:12 scale farm wagon without the cloth canopy.

Here's the chassis in progress.

I'm undecided on color, just letting the project take me in the direction it wants to.  I'm thinking dark green, perhaps.  The wagon will be listed on etsy when I finish it, so stay tuned!  :D

Brae, oh, how I understand you about being itchy for another project! Farm wagon sounds more than interesting, especially converted to the different scale. Natalia, staying tuned, :)))

It's nice to add some variety into anything so it doesn't get tedious. Shakes up the creative process, I think! ~Patti
