Christmas cards in miniature

by brae Email

Just because the house is barely built doesn't mean I can't decorate for Christmas! :D  That's the magic of photographing only one room at a time.

I did a google image search for Christmas cards and saved a bunch I liked.  Some of these had "sample" writing or watermarks on them, but being scaled down, these things are illegible and unnoticeable.  Here they are printed on regular paper with white space left for backs.

I then pasted the sheet of paper to a heavier cardstock paper before cutting out the individual cards, leaving white space either to the left or top depending on the orientation of the image.  To get a clean fold, I bent the card over the edge of my cutting board.

Some worked better than others but I ended up with a whole lot of them!

Once I have the study put together, I will display some on the fireplace mantel.
