Baxter Pointe Villa plan and a giveaway and a feature!

by brae

I was going through my idea file today since there are still a number of beachy things I'd like to add to Baxter Pointe Villa going forward, and I found the initial mockup of my idea...before I found the wind turbine or realized the cupola would not work on my redesigned roofline.  I also hadn't thought about a chimney yet and therefore didn't flip the stairs.

I still think I came pretty close to what I initially imagined.  :D

And, in exciting news...I've got a giveaway brewing here behind the scenes.  Details to follow soon!

And, in more exciting news...I just noticed my mini eyeshadow compact was featured in an etsy treasury: size doesn't matter!!!  How fun!  My very first!

Exciting on all fronts! I have a mock-up of the Gallery, too. Most of my ideas were kept, but a few had to go (like my stairs). I think you got pretty close to what you had envisioned! Hooray for giveaway's and features!

that is fascinating, the mock did you do that? I just envisioned mine in my head and did a general sketch of the inside to see where i could put things (which didnt work out very well LOL)....and you came incredibly close to your first design!! just incredible work :o)

Thank you! Julie - would you believe I made that in Word?!! I just drew it with boxes and circles and lines. I used their pattern fill options for the sand and the wood texture. I took the GL stairs photo and used an online converter to make it transparent, so the background would show through. The windows, sky and water are just gradient filled boxes. I then did a screen capture to get the image in jpg form.
