Banjo wall clock and a beautiful old photo

I finished up the banjo clock from Cynthia Howe Miniatures.  Love this kit!!!!  :D

I used Liquitex Iridescent Bronze paint for the metallic accents and added two light coats of Delta Ceramcoat satin varnish to bring out the beauty of the wood.

The artwork fits the kitchen décor perfectly, and the cabochon clock face is very realistic.

Now the kitchen is no longer jealous of the parlor.

Now that I have the ceiling board in place, I could hang the beautiful photographic art Kelly sent to me some time ago.  It's called Ghosts of the Past.  I think it works wonderfully here in the kitchen.  Maybe it's an old faded photo of grandma's childhood home.  :]  The lovely pitcher is from Caterina.

Brae, this clock has got to be the most beautiful clock I have ever seen. And, it fits perfectly on top of the green background of the wallpaper! Kelly's photographic art which I find has an old world look about it looks very much at home on that wall and I find that it goes very well with that wallpaper. Caterina's aged jug suits the theme perfectly!
