Absinthe fountain set - non-mini

by brae

I don't usually write about non-miniature related things here on my blog, but this is so beautiful I just had to share.

This beautiful absinthe fountain set with glasses, spoons and sugar cubes was a Christmas gift that I have just had the time to set up.  I adore the look of it, and I love the fussiness of a full absinthe service!

The glass carafes were purchased long ago, but they serve to not only fill the fountain but complement the look of the glassware.

Here's my real life kitchen with the cabinet set in the corner.

What time is that on the clock?  Il est temps pour l'absinthe!

Pretty! I like that you can see similarities between your real life style decor and your mini's. If you didn't mention that it was mini, I bet a lot of people would think it was... :)

Well, we're never too old to learn something, are we? I just researched absinthe, having never heard of it. It certainly is a little treasure, isn't it? Your kitchen is nice and neat, like your minis, Brae. I do agree with your friend!

Thank you! Lucille - if you ever have the chance, try it. It's a wonderfully sweet and refreshing cocktail. Ingrid - I love your mini version! I will have to make a mini one of my own.

What a lovely item to own - I've never seen one before although I knew all about absinthe.

:D I am so eager to try it out myself. While in Denver over the summer, we went to a restaurant that had the full service. They brought the fountain out to the table!
