A mini dream realized

by brae Email

I have another beautiful creation by Mary of Roslyn Treasures.

This is the previous afghan she made.

Some time ago, I found this real life afghan pattern on favecrafts.com and thought it would be perfect in miniature. I contacted Mary since her workmanship is flawless.

Mary adapted the real life pattern into a perfect miniature interpretation.

She works with sewing thread and I have to tell you, the level of detail in her stitches is just amazing. As someone who crochets in real life size, I am in awe of her ability to do the same craft in miniature.

I see the cat has claimed it, as kitties often do ;)

She did a beautiful job once again. The pattern you picked it lovely, granny afghans really make the space feel cozy.

LOVE IT! I want to cuddle up in it. Too bad it would only fit my big toe...

I didn't think to ask Mary how much time it took, but she turned it around in a matter of days. 88| Even more amazing!

Amazing work, I love the colors, Mary's work is fantastic, I have tried a bit of crochet in mini, it is hard work. Both my daughters have full sized ones that their grandma crocheted for them, quite fitting as they are called granny squares after all. Is this going on the Heritage porch with grandma?

As confirmed Gluer of nearly everything glueable, I have the greatest admiration for anyone gifted in the sewing arts! This is a meticulous and beautiful piece of needle work! There is definietly an Artist behind that crochet hook! Lucky you!
