Wall tapestry

by brae Email

In addition to the bird prints on the opposite side, I wanted to add a pop of color to the white brick wall in the kitchen.  I love Natasha Wescoat's artwork, so made a mini tapestry from her image June Tree.  It is printed it on fabric and adhered to sticky-back felt.  I used two jewelry head pins to act as the hanging rod, folding and gluing the upper edge of the fabric to hold them in place.

I glued a piece of cardboard to the top on the back to keep the fabric edge down and to have a surface to mount the tapestry to the wall using Mini-Hold Wax.

And, here's the mini tapestry in place.
